Show Roosevelt Will Call Meeting to Organize Warriors NEW YORK, March 16. On receipt re-ceipt of word here from Paris that 500 members of the American expeditionary force had taken the first step there toward organizing a world war veterans' association, Lieutenant Colonel Theodore Roosevelt Roose-velt announced tonight that a meeting meet-ing would ho called in this country "about the end of April" for the same purpose. Ho added that organization or-ganization would not bo completed until most of the American troops returned from overseas. He said that on February 15 a representative group of members of the national guard and national army overseas held a preliminary conference in Paris, to consider plans for the organization of an association associa-tion similar to the Grand Army of the Republic, "with the purpose of promoting comradeship and sorvlug tho nation by keeping alive the i spirit which caused American citizens , to make such great sacrifices."
