G-Buckle G-Buckle home Friday evening and spent Saturday visiting Mrs- Ann Itasmussen and John Knudsen in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Hoi ley Burgess of Castle Gate is visiting this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poulsen and family were Monday visitors . at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. ' Hancock of South Tenth East street. Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Hatch visited their parents in Magna last week-end. Mrs. Leland Walker entertained entertain-ed the Monday Bridge club at her home on South Temple St., Salt Lake City. Those present from Copperton and Bingham were Mrs. H. L. Garrity, Mrs. L. S. Breekon, Mrs. Louis Buchman, Mrs. J. C. Landenberger. Mrs. J. A- Norden, Mrs. H. C. Jenkins and Mrs. John Crane. The Copperton grade school P.-T.A. sponsored a card party held in the school auditorium Monday evening. Refreshments were ' served to sixty-five guests and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Ker-mith Ker-mith Isbell and M. C Colyar, as well as a prize to holder of high score at each table. Mrs. J. C. Landenberger and Mrs. H. L. Garrity were co-hostesses at a delightful bridge luncheon lun-cheon Thursday at the Garrity home, honoring Mrs- H C. Jen-Kins Jen-Kins and Mrs. George Wunder. Mrs. Arthur Fike and three children and Mrs. Alton Fike and son, Jimmy, motored to Salt Lake Saturday to visit their father. Mr. F. E. Turner, who arrived from New Mexico to be with his family fami-ly for the week. Tuesday evening eve-ning Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fike entertained at a birthdav party for Mr, Turner. Swain. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Mugfur and Mrs. Barnett. Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Barnett spent Monday visiting Mrs. I?.M. Cunliffe of Salt Lake, mother of Mrs. Barnett. Mrs. C. E. Burr of Cedar Citv was a visitor at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Mitchell, from Saturday until Tuesday. That day another sister, Mrs. R. C- Sa vage, and the mother of all three women, Mrs- J. H. Smith, and a friend, Mrs- II. Swenson, all of Salt Lake City, came to spend the afternoon, all returning to Salt Lake City that evening. Legion Auxiliary The annual membership drive party of the auxiliary to the A-merican A-merican Legion, post No- 30, was held Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Mike Brisk with Mrs. L. C Cosgrove and Mrs. D. Jv Sullivan on the committee. When the drive for new members ended recently there were 50 enrolled en-rolled in the auxiliary. Mrs. Brisk was captain of the winning team. Sixteen engaged in bridge with Mrs. Francis J. Quinn, Mrs. Ross HocHing and Mrs- Viola Jackson high. Delicious refreshments were served. Copperton members of the I Copperfield Firemen's auxiliary attending the melting Monday evening were Mrs. G. O. Swain. Mrs. L. C. Nicholl, Mrs. L. E. Barnett and Mrs. George Anderson. Ander-son. Mrs. Swain held high score and Mrs- Nicholl second- Calvin and Miriam Jones, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs-L. Mrs-L. C- Jones, spent the week-end in Sun Valley, Idaho, joining a group sngnsored by the Salt Lake junior chamber of commerce. Miriam Mi-riam reports the skiing was so grand that she had little time for the many other diversions except to attend the dinner dance held at Trail Creek Inn high in the mountains.
