Show THREE ARE KILLED ON STEAMSHIP OF NAVY NEW YORK, Nov. H. Three men were killed, one of them a lieutenant of the 1'nited States naval reserves, apd two were badly scalded when a steam valve burst on an American steamship In the service of the navy while at her pier here today. The men killed were Lieutenant Alexander W. Walls and Syly ester Ten-noyer. Ten-noyer. fireman of a civilian crew of machinists. ma-chinists. A similar accident occurred on the ship about a week ago, when twelve men were seriously burned. H. T. Mercer, second-class fireman, one of the men scalded, died of Ids injuries in a hospi t al tonight. |
