Show FORMER ST. LOUISAN DIES IN SALT LAKE Funeral services for William Charles Evans, who died June 8 at the age of 51 years, will be held a. 8 o'clock this evening eve-ning at the Percy C. Sirver chapel, foUo-w-ing which the body will be taken to St. Louis, Mo., for interment. Bishop F. S. Tingey of the Seventeenth ward will preside. pre-side. Mr. Evans, who resided at 51S South State street, had been a resident of Salt Lake for seven years, coming here from St. Louis. He was a brother-in-law of former Chief of Police B. F. Grant. He is survived by his widow, Maud Evans; his mother, Mrs. Owen Evans of St. Louis; two brothers, John Ev;ins of Great Falls, Mont, and Harry Evans of St. Louis; and five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Ker-rins, Ker-rins, Mrs. Mary McGee, Mrs. Frances Mayers, Mrs. Oliva S trunk and Mrs. Emma McLeroy. |
