Show ONLY SIX MUSTER ROLLS UNACCEPTED . . . , . - Special to The Tribune. WASHINGTON, July 20. The commissioner commis-sioner of pensions today advised Senator W. H. King that he had approved and accepted' the muster rolls of sixty-nine companies of Utah Indian war fighters, having rejected but six rolls in all. The rejected rolls are those of the Kimball, Sutton, Burton, Casper, Bigler and Wonder companies, concerning which technicalities hae been raised. .Indian war veterans, whose names appear ap-pear on the approved muster rolls, and who have failed applications for pensions, pen-sions, will soon be granted allowances. The veteran survivors of the six rejected re-jected companies will probably get no relief until congress passes the special bill, recently introduced by Senator King, to cure irregularities in these rolls. |
