Show SERVICE ASSOCIATION INSTALLS OFFICERS The National Service association, comprising com-prising 350 employees of the Auerhach Dry Goods company, held its first regular meeting last night when the officers recently re-cently appointed by the executive committee com-mittee of the organization were installed. The meeting was presided over by' William Wil-liam Sayer. President C. A. Johnson made a brief talk In which he outlined the policies and plans of the new organization. organ-ization. Other officers installed were Mrs. Fred Harvey, vice president; F. S. .Derrick,' .Der-rick,' treasurer, and Miss Lillian Fox, secretary. sec-retary. Notable among the activities of the association as-sociation will be the publication monthly of a club organ In which the activities of the members both patriotic and social will be set forth. At the conclusion of the regular business busi-ness meeting the members retired to the new clubrooms, formerly occupied by the K. of P., where they enjoyed music, dancing and refreshments. Musical numbers were furnished by the Auerbach orchestra under the direction of Miss Eva Bruckner, Miss H. Johnson, C. H. Johnson and Miss Fae Lambert. |
