Show GOLD REEF MINE IS SINKING SHAFT The Gold Reef mine, which was listed yesterday in San Francisco, is owned chiefly by R. G. (Dick) Williams, the veteran vet-eran trouble shooter of the Western Union, who located four claims in the Divide district eleven years ago and continued con-tinued doing his assessment work with development that would count when it came to tho time when events justified opening the property on a commercial scale, according to ,the Tonopah Bonanza. The Gold Reef adjoins the Gold Zone on the south at the foot of the canyon which everybody knows from the presence of the small house and well on the left side of the road while traveling to Gold-field. Gold-field. Mr. Williams has associated himself with several San Francisco men who investigated in-vestigated the surroundings and came to the conclusion that the Williams group was one of the best in the- district. The Gold Reef " company is, retlmbering the shaft to a depth of 100 feet and next week will begin Installing of machinery for active ac-tive sinking.
