Show O. S. L. CLUB GIVES DANCE AT NEWHOUSE Featuring patriotic and military music, the Oregon Short Line Family War Service Serv-ice club held a dancing party last night at the Newhouse hotel. The orchestra ran the gamut of wartime popular selections selec-tions everything from "So Long, Girlie" to "God Be With Our Boys, Tonight." The program of dances was under the caption, "order of attack," and the blank lines for partners was labeled "captives." At the conclusion of the party "taps" was blown. The gathering was a get-together affair, af-fair, under the auspices of the disbursements disburse-ments department committee. E. E. Per-renot, Per-renot, Marie Preston and G. M. Baxter had all arrangements in charge. About 200 persons attended. |
