The Angels took an awful fall out of the Seals today, hammering three pitchers for eighteen lilts and a total of twelve runs, the final score being 12 to 2. The Angel attack on Chief Johnson In the first frame netted them four runs on as many hits, and the chief was chased from trie mound before the inning was finished, Seaton replacing him. Another rattling rally in the sixth gave the home team seven runs. Seaton was taken out of the box in this inning after five runs had been made off his delivery, and Smith, who succeeded him, was touched up for a couple more before the frame was finished.
