Show ALLEGED CATTLE THIEVES TAKEN i Evidence Against Men Is Obtained by Pocatello, Idaho, Detective. Special to The Tribune. rOOATLLLO, Idaho. Oct. P. The lie vela re International Secret Service of this city has been successful in running down another bunch of alleged cattle rustlers in lite Ha i ley district. The men were arrested vestcrday. They are Jesse 1 Scohle, W. L. West and Harry Rurncll. ! S.-oble anil West are ex-convicts. Lmbree was never recaptured. but West and Scoble were taken and I served terms in the penitentiary. Burnell. in addition to being accused of "cattle rustling." also is charged with being a draft evader. In order to obtain evidence against the 'suspected men. operatives of ihe Keveiare service obtained possession of a ranch near that occupied by the alleged "rustlers," "rus-tlers," and spent several weeks in getting get-ting the confidence of the suspects and learning their methods of operation. When the operatives were finally ready for their final move. Guy R. Prunty, wealthy cattleman, swore to a complaint charging the men with grand larceny and they were immediately arrested. ft |
