Hardy of Granite are well represented in the United States fighting forces by a captain, lieutenant and a marine. Captain Aaron Y. Hardy, 27, now stationed at Douglas, Ariz., enlisted en-listed in the army in August. 1117. He had served practically four years in the Utah National Guard. Lieutenant Brig-ham Brig-ham Y. Hardy, 21, enlisted in the 145th field artillery when it was federalized, and. after a few months training at Camp Kearny, was appointed to attend the officers' training school for artillerymen artillery-men at Camp Zachary Taylor. Ky. Recently Re-cently he received a commission as second sec-ond lieutenant. Vernon Hardy. IS, enlisted en-listed in the marine corps early in 191$, and word received at home states he is now actively engaged in France. |
