Show Coffee Futures. NEW YORK, Dee. 2S. A further advance ad-vance in the market for coffee futures attracted sufficient realizing to cause reactions, re-actions, but the general tone was steady with the close showing a net advance of 1 to 4 points. The market opened steady a,t an advance of 2 to 4 points and sold about 8 to 14 points net higher during the middle of the day, with March touching touch-ing 7.85c and September 8.30c. This reflected re-flected a renewed demand from houses with Wall street and European connections connec-tions which was accompanied by talk of a firm cost and freight situation and reports re-ports of an improved spot demand. Later March eased off to 7.75c and December to 8.19c under profit taking and trade selling, with last prices at the lowest point of the day. December and January, 7.55c; March. 7.75c: May. 7.S9c; July, 8.0-1; September. 8.19c: October, 8. 27c. Spot coffee was reported firm with prices an eighth higher at Sc for Rio 7s and 9 7sc for Santos 4s. Sales of about 20,000 bags were reported in the cost and freight market on about the basis of yesterday's offers. Today's offers were a shade higher, including Santos 3s and Is at 9.90c and Santos 4s at 9.50c to 9.70c, London credits. The official cables reported no change In Brazilian markets except Santos futures fu-tures which were unchanged to 50 reis lower.
