Show TEACHERS READY TO 00 INSTITUTE WORK Opening Session Monday Morning in East High School. For the teaching force of Salt Lake's schools actual -work begins tomorrow morning with the assembly at the East high school at 10:30 o'clock for commencement com-mencement of the week of institute work that is to precede the opening of the schools. The forenoon programme will be simple. sim-ple. The opening number will be a violin solo by Miss Georgia Young. Superintendent Su-perintendent Ernest A. Smith will deliver de-liver a message from the National Education Edu-cation association for 1017, the Rev. P. A. Simpkin will make a short talk on "Personality in Education,'5 and Miss Leola Schrack will render a vocal solo. The afternoon will be given over to departmental institute work. The programme pro-gramme in detail follows: 2 p. m. to 2:45 p. m. Kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grades, Mr. Zaner, north study room; fifth grade, Mr. Day, room A--1; sixth grade, Mr. Fairbanks, room A-12; high school, phvsical education. Mr. Eaton, assem-' assem-' bly room. (Seventh and eighth grade teachers and junior high school teachers teach-ers will meet with high school teachers.) teach-ers.) 2:50 p. m. to 3:30 p. m. Kindergarten, Kindergart-en, first, second and third grades.
