Forty mombcM of tho Veteran Odd Fellows' association from various parts of tho state gathered last night at the Xcwhonse hotel to attend the annual banquet and election of tho organization. organiza-tion. Past Grand Master Edward Poarce was selected as chief veteran, Past Grand Master X. O. Price as vice chief and W. T. Hopkins secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer for the ensuing year. Dr. A. C. Kwing of Salt Lake presided pre-sided at tho meeting and served as toastmaster at the Iwnquet. Among those who responded to toasts and their subjects were: Grand Master F. II. C'elloventra, "The Grand Lodge"; Past Grand Master A. Stewart ot Jiinguam, "The Order"; Past Grand Master W. I. Snyder, "Our Departed Veterans"; the fi'ev. P. A. Simpkin, "The Veteran"; Vet-eran"; Past Grand Master W. O. Car-bis, Car-bis, " Veteran Service." Tho Association is an honorary organization organ-ization and its membership is composed of Odd Follows of twenty-five or more consecutive years' good standing. Aro member of 'the 1. O. O. F. is eligible to membership in the Veteran association associa-tion until he has been a member of the order in good standing for twenty-five consecutive years.
