Show MAY SECURE WATER AT REDUCED RATES The advisability of furnishing- service connections and water for gardening vacant va-cant lots in the city this season was a matter of discussion yesterday with the city commission. Commissioner Stephen R. Xewman favored the appropriation of $1000 to pay the cost of sen-ice connections connec-tions and the furnishing of water for gardening purposes at a greatly reduced rate so lon.c: as the surplus water supply sup-ply should last. Commissioner Wells expressed himself as favoring free water for persons who undertake gardening on otherwise vacant va-cant ground as long as the water supply of the city remains untaxed by the usage.
