Show IDAHOANS EXPRESS LOYALTY TO NATION Special to The Tribune. KIGBY, Idaho, April 5. Pursuant, to the proclamation ot Governor Alexander Alexan-der declaring Tuesday afternoon a half holiday in Idaho, the merchants and business men of Kigby closed their places of business, and with the high school band a large parade formed on Main street and marched to the tabernacle, taber-nacle, where an audience of 1500 people peo-ple gathered and listened to stirring addresses ad-dresses of State Attorney General T. A. Walter? of Boise. Harrv HoldeD of Idaho Falls, President John W. Hart and Mayor George E. Hill, who presided over the gathering. The Rigby stake choir, accompanied by the big pipe organ,' or-gan,' sang patriotic, songs and much enthusiasm en-thusiasm "was developed. A dozen young men responded to the call and enlisted to join company M, making i thirty-eight in all that have joined the colors from Rigbv and vicinitv. The boys left "for Idaho Falls last night, where the company is stationed, which will leave for Boise in the morning, morn-ing, where the Second Idaho will be mobilized. By the time orders are given for this regiment to move to the front it will be recruited up to full war strength. |
