Show ASKS HIGHWAYS INTO SAN JUAN COUNTY F. A. Wadlelgh, general passenger agent for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Rail-road company, called on Governor Bamberger Bam-berger yesterday morning and urged him to use his influence to build roads into San Juan county In the region of the natural bridges. He said to make this section of the state open to automobile tourists would be of immense value to the people of the state and would result In much favorable advertising to the commonwealth com-monwealth as a tourist attraction. Tourist travel to the west, especially to Utah and Colorado, will be heavier this season than ever before, in the opinion of Mr. "Wadlelgh. "Americans in the last few years, since they have been shut out of Europe, have come to know their own country better than ever," said Mr. Wadlelgh. "But they only have had a small taste of the real beauty and wonders to be found In the west and will seek the mountains here this shimmer as never before." |
