Show GRAVES OF VETERANS WILL BE DECORATED Everybody Is in Readiness for Memorial Memo-rial Day Services in Ogden; Flowers Flow-ers in -Abundance. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, May 29. In response to a request re-quest made by the G. A. R. arrangement committee several days ago, many flowers flow-ers were delivered to the city building today for use tomorrow in decorating -the graves of dead veterans. The principal observance of Memorial day in this city will be made by the members of Dix-Lo-?an post, G. A. R., and auxiliary organizations, organi-zations, who will assemble in Central park at 9;30 o'clock tomorrow morning. The graves in Mountain View cemetery will be decorated during the morning and at 1:30 o'clock the veterans and others will meet In Central park for the trip to Ogden Og-den City cemetery, where a monument to the unknown dead will be dedicated with an address by Captain E. T. Kulaniski. On the return from this cemetery flowers will be strewn on the waters of the Ogden river as a mark of honor for the sailor dead. The general committee on preparation and safety agreed today to furnish twenty-five automobiles for the use of the veterans on the trips to local cemeteries. |
