The colors of pink and white were used in decorating with artistic effect. Mr. and Mrs. Smith left the same evening for Salt Lake to spend a few days. The Merry Members' club gave a dancing party In the gymnasium Thursday Thurs-day evening. The senior class of the local high school gave a moving-picture show and vaudeville vaude-ville performance in the opera house Wednesday evening. Miss Gertrude McCheyne of Logan, Utah, was the guest of Miss Lillian Row-berry Row-berry during the early part of the week land returned to Salt Lake City Thursday. The Sewing Girls' club met in the domestic do-mestic art room of the high school Wed-! Wed-! nesday evening. Those present were 1 Miss Lillian Rowberry, Mrs. Cora G. A Grand wa rd reunion was an enjoyable enjoy-able event of the past week. Friday afternoon aft-ernoon at the L. D. S. amusement hall an elaborate programme was a feature of the reunion. Dinner was served from ti:"0 to 9 p. m., after which dancing was enjoyed. The regular meeting of the Magna Women's i-lub took place at the L. D. S. ward ball last Wednesday afternoon. Miss Kate Williams of Salt Lake gave an interesting talk on "Playgrounds." Mrs. E. E. Nelson of Townsite, who Is t lie recording secretary of the Utah Federation Fed-eration of Women's chilis, talked on the work being done by the women's clubs throughout the state.
