Show GARLAND f GARLAND, March 3. Mrs. W. T. Chambers was hostess to the members of the Self Culture clubs on February 26. Vice President, Mrs. W. L. Preston, presided. pre-sided. There were twenty-five members, with the following named ladies as guests of the hostess: Mrs. Willis Phelps, Sand-ford Sand-ford Bingham, W. L. Cunningham, F. A. Manausa, Miss Nellie Barnard and Clarence E. Smith. The home was decorated dec-orated with the club colors, pink and white in carnations. The hotess was assisted as-sisted bv the Mrs. T. W. Tues, G. R. Cole. J. ' E. Day and W. F. Pearson. Luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Austin gave a social at their home last Tuesday evening even-ing to a number of their friends. Games were engaged in and a number of musical musi-cal selections rendered after a dainty supper was served. Those present besides the host and hostess were Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Hales, R, V. Daniels, Clarence Smith, Ed N. Austin. Dr. W. M. Cra-gun, Cra-gun, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Udy of Riverside. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Stanton Stan-ton of Salt Lake and Mrs. Thomas Brough of Nephi. Mrs. W. M. Cragun returned home yesterday yes-terday from a visit in Ogden, where she attended the wedding of her sister, Miss Eva He Inter, who was married in the Salt Lake temple Wednesday to Horace Ensign of Ogden. The couple left for Lob Angeles in the afternoon, where they will spend their honeymoon. Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Hansen came up from Layton today and will spend o week or two visiting with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. W. Stanton of Salt Lake are visiting here with their daughter, Mrs. Clarence Austin and family. N. Anderson and children of Bothville are here in this city this week, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Schneider. |
