FITZPATRICK AND WATSON OFFICIALS Brigham City Fans Prepare to Show Visiting Players Royal Time; Indications Point to Success. With the Utah state high Bchool bai ketball tournament to open Thursday the teams to compete are making prepa rations for three strenuous nightt a Brigham City. Last week after considerable competi tion, Brigham City was awarded th tourney, the first time in several year that the B. Y. U. of Provo will not b in charge. Assurances from Brighai: City are'given that the visiting hooper will be shown a royal time, and th Peach City fans are hoping that the; will be ablo to make the tourney a hi success and then go after tho moo again next year. The high school floor will not b crowded to its -full capacity, accordiu to Coach Roskelly, wno declares tha whon the seats are filled the doors wi be closed, bo that the players will hav the full advantage of the playing floo and sidelines. Two Games Tomorrow. Tooele and the Boxelder teams hav been sure of entering the tourney fo several weeks, but only Friday nigh was the title decided in the Alpine di vision and Lehi must yet play Spring ville. Kiehfield and Branch Agricu tural college Monday at Bichfield. Boxelder followers see bright hope of the championship, as do a large num ber of fans throughout the Btate. Coac C. O- Roskelly has developed one of th greatest aggregations that has ever rer I resented Brigham City, and as tha j town has been in the' 1914 and 191 tourneys, the 1916 team appears in sti. j greater magnitude, Last year Boxelder was one of th best fives in the tournament, and whe Josephson was graduated last spring, i was thought that the Brigham Cit quint would be out of the running fo a few years. Tooele May Surprise. Tooele, the representative of the Sal Lake division, is regarded as the weak est team in the touruoy. Despite th talk that the Tooele warriors will uc be strong contenders, there are man who believe that Coach West's boy will put up a sensational scrap. Th Salt Lake section champs have show their ability to play classy ball, ani barriug accidents, will make things ir teresting.
