Show CAPITOL COMMISSION 10 BE REORGANIZED New State Officials Will Succeed Three of the Present Members- While the present stato officials who are mem bora of the capitol commission will retire from tho board January 1, tho board will not dissolve, but will be reorganized with the now stato officials as members. fuch was tho decision of the commission commis-sion at its session yesterday. Lund of Salt Luke and Colonel C. K. Loose of Provo, who will continue as members of the now organization. There was some talk yesterday of dissolving tho board, but "tho members decided that, as there is yet much work to be done on tho erounds of the capitol capi-tol and in plncing the finishing touches on the decorations of the buildine, the board had better continue in existence until this work has been completed. The board accepted a handsome ni! painting of .Indue .1. A. Miner, former chief justice of the supremo court of Ttah. which wss offered by Mrs. lien-ner lien-ner X. Smith, a daughter 'of the late chief justice. The picture probably will bo hung in the supreme court library. David Mat tson, secretary of state, was authorized to purchase" pictures of .1. T. Hammond and ( '. S. Tingey. former for-mer secretaries of state, to hang 'in the offke of the secretary of state. |
