A sample of the new sweater which will he given out this year as a football award was tent up to the university yesterday yes-terday and made a decided hit with tiie grid men. The sweater is one of the "V" neck type- It Is white with a red border around the lower part of the sweater and nt the cuffs. The award will be given all the varsi'y footbail men. The f-de of automobile tickets at the university book store for Thursday's game continues merrily, only a few stalls now remaining. The demand for general admission ad-mission tickets Is now setting in also. To aid In distributing the tickets a plan has been devised by which the students at the school are aidine in the work. Between the halves on Thanksgiving 'lav the freshmen will stage a farce footbail foot-bail game. The first-year men will appear ap-pear In a unique costume and promise rhat there will he plenty of fun while the crowd is waiting for the teams to resume ulay. Two soccer football teams from the freshman c'ass will aid in tilling in the gap. The Knglish game has never succeeded suc-ceeded in getting a foothold at the lnstl-' lnstl-' union until this year.
