Show OHIO COPPER AGAIN FIGURES IN COURT Rival Stockholders ' Committees Seek Redemption of Company's 'Assets. NEW YORK, Nov. 21. Representatives Represent-atives of two rival stockholders ' committees com-mittees appeared in federal district court here today seeking redemption of the assets of the Ohio Copper Mining company, t lie properties of which are located in Utah and Montana. One of the committees, represented by the law lirm of Meyers & Goldsmith, presented a certified check for $1,350,000, which it was said would be suliicient to pay off the bonded indebtedness, creditors"' claims and expenses of the company's affairs since its adjudication as a bankrupt. bank-rupt. The other committee, represented bv Arthur P. Iloin&c, made a similar offer, but. did not present a chock to support its bid. Judge Hand, before whom the arguments argu-ments were made, did not accept either offer. He said he was not concerned with any plan for reorganization, and as he considered the referee's report unusual un-usual would reserve his decision. The assets of the company were purchased pur-chased for $700,000 by a bondholders ' protective committee under foreclosure proceedings on August 31 last.
