Xflson, who was horn in this city on February 2i, 1S,2, and is the oldest native na-tive of Tooele, was the guest ol honor at an entertainment given by the Daughters of the Pioneers at the North ward meeting house this evening. The meeting house wib decoiate-1 in white and yellow chrysanthemums and a musical programme was rendered, Allowed Al-lowed by ret ri-shments and old-fashioned dancing' About .SOU guests were preent. Mrs. Nelson is th1 naughter of the late Bishop .lohn Kowberry and Eliza Barber Koivberry. She has lived in Touele all her liie and at the age of 21 ears was married to William W. Nelson. , Slie is the mother of eight children and I eighteen grandchildren, all of whom are . living. During 1ipt earlier life Mrs. Nelson was active ifi social and religious affairs, af-fairs, working in the relief society and primary for many years. She is known all ovp'r the country for her charitable dipof itio'n and is highly esteemed by all who know her. |
