Show ARIZONA RAY HAS TWO DRILLS IN ORE Since Fred eric I i K. Yuung left for the Arizona Ray property, the local office at Salt Lake City received a wire that drill hulo No. 1 had reached a depth of 570 feet and drill bole No. 2 a depth of M'i feet, both drills in ore. This wire was received from the Ray oflice and signed bv the engineer in charge, A. Mac-Donald. Mac-Donald. In Mr. Young's first report on the Arizona Ari-zona Ray he sta ted it was his opinion that all the conditions which have resulted result-ed in the forinalion of the copper deposits depos-its in t ho proven zone uf the Ray Consolidated Con-solidated and the Ray Hercules are present, pres-ent, to a large degree, in the properties of the Arizona Ray Copper company, which adjoins the above-named pioper-t pioper-t Ies. The company is awaiting the arrival jof the third churn drill. .All preparations have been made for this additional drill and immediately upon Its arrival Mi'. Young will have it net in place. The unexpected strike in the 'Ray Hercules lias caused an added impetus to the work on the Arizona Ray. The ore struck in tiie auxiliary shaft of t he Ray Hercules at a depth of 225 feet and which was maintained to 272 feet without with-out a break, ran an average of 1.90 per cent copper. Some of the newer companies which have been organized in the Ray district are making preparations for work. The 'Great Ray Is outlining a campaign of development, de-velopment, which will be under way . shortly. |
