Show WOMEN TO SPEAK AT BARRATT HALL Non-partisan Meeting Is Announced at Wnicn Prominent Speakers Will Be Hoard. Mrs. Gwendolyn Lewis little, organizer or-ganizer for the Democratic Women 'b State committee, and Mrs. P. Basil Clarke, recently of Belgium, will be the principal speakers tonight at a non-partisan women 's meeting at Barratt hall. Mrs. Little will talk chiefly on the suffrage suf-frage question, and will explain the attitude atti-tude of the various factious among the suffrage workers, and make reply to some of the statements of the representatives represen-tatives of the Woman's party. Mrs. Clarke will confine her remarks to war conditions in Belgium. Although the meeting is especially for women, men are invited. This will be Mrs. Little's first public appearance in Salt Lake during the campaign. A musical programme will bo given in connection con-nection with tho talks. Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Louise Palmer Weber We-ber and ,1. H. Letcher addressed a Democratic meeting last night at Highland High-land Bov. Mrs. J. B. Ecid, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth J. Havward and Mrs. Gwendolyn Lewis Little began a1 speaking tour of Weber county yesterday. Mrs. Keid will speak tonight at Layton, and Dr. Elsie Ada Faust and Mrs'. Esther Husbands will speak tonight at East Bountiful. Dr. Faust will speak Saturday night at Layton. Mrs. Little will speak Saturday afternoon at Lehi and Saturday night at Payson. . |
