Show BIG MEETINGS HELD IN TINTlC DISTRICT Judge William H. King and Samuel A. King Address Large Democratic Gatherings. Special to The Tribune. EUREKA, Nov. 2. Three Democratic rallies in the Tintic district were addressed ad-dressed this afternoon and tonight by .ludj-e William M. Kins and Samuel A. King. Both speakers addressed a. meeting meet-ing at Mammoth at 2 o'clock this afternoon aft-ernoon and Judge King spoke at a meeting at Silver City at 6 o'clock tonight. to-night. Both speakers came, here from Silver Citv and addressed the largest and most enthusiastic meeting of the campaign. The big hall was crowded to its ca-pacitv ca-pacitv 'and many persons were unable to get in. All the meetings were largely large-ly attended and the greatest enthusiasm enthusi-asm was displayed. At the Eureka meeting Judge King spoke chiefly on the national issues and called attention to tho legislation enacted enact-ed by the Democratic administration of special interest and benefit to labor, lie -declared that Charles E. Hughes had intimated that, much of this legislation would be repealed if the Republican, party should bo elected to power. Samuel A. King discussed national issues is-sues briefly and then turned his atton-tiou atton-tiou to state issues and spoke very hiahlv of Simon Bamberger and other candidates on the. Democratic ticket. Edward Pike presided at the meeting and made a short talk, in which he declared de-clared that Nephi .' orris had had a sudden change of heart with reference to politics wlieu he saw an opportunity to obtain the ltepublican nomination for governor. |
