Show Frank Botterill Completing Remarkable Trip in Super-Six Tvdo oi Hudson Super-Six roadster in which Mr. Botterill is completing nearly a 4000 mile trip. When Frank Botterill, of the Tom Botterill Automobile company, of this city, arrives in Salt Lake Monday or Tuesday of this week in the Super-Six roadster in which he and Mrs. Botterill have driven from Detroit to Buffalo, to Albanv, to New York City, to Atlantic City, io Philadelphia and then west to Denver and Salt Lake, it is believed he will have a story to tell of the performance perform-ance of the Super-Six that will form one of the most interesting chapters in the history that is now being written daily in every state of the Union regarding the wonderful new Hudson. Mr. and Mrs. Botterill reached Denver Wednesday evening of last week, and after a visit of a day or two in that city Mr. Botterill expected to start overland over-land with the Super-Six roadster to Salt Lake, arriving here Monday or Tuesday. The meager information he has wired ahead regarding the features of his trip indicates that the performance of the Super-Six roadster he is driving will prove as interesting in recital as has been heard in local motoring circles in yea rs. Mr. and Mrs. Botterill left Omaha Tuesday noon and were- in Denver by dusk Wednesday. From 6:4!3 Wednesday morning until 10;4o Wednesday evening they drove the Super-Six 425 miles. According to Mr. Botterill 's telegram to the officials of his company here, these are but a few of the high lights of practically a 4000 mile trip which has created a great deal of interest in Mr. Botterill 's roadster from the Atlantic At-lantic coast through the Bocky Moun-I Moun-I tains. It is expected that Mr. Botterill will place his car on exhibition on the sales door of the Botterill company when he arrives this week and will then divulge complete information and details of bis remarkable drive. Mr. Botterill is but one of a coterie of j Utah men now driving new Hudson jSuner-Sixes through the eastern and middle western states, and all of them headed toward Salt Lake. J. M. Callow is driving a new Super-Six Super-Six phaeton overland after a tour of the eastern states. J. S. Bransford, former for-mer mayor of Salt Lake, has taken delivery de-livery of a new roadster and after a tour through the New England states returns to Salt Lake. A. J. Lewis, of Salina, TUah, has received re-ceived delivery of a new Hudson phaeton phae-ton at the factory and has toured Wisconsin Wis-consin in it. |
