Show i I Society Founding Commemorated A dramatization of the organization organi-zation of the L. D. S. Relief Society ninety-seven years before be-fore was a program feature of the anniversary party for members mem-bers of the Bingham ward group and their partners at the church Friday evening. The social was planned by Mrs. Clive Siddoway with the assist- Nu-I Club Pink sweet peas centered small tables arranged for seven o'clock dinner for Nu-I club members Monday evening at the apartment apart-ment of Mrs. Odell Peterson of Copperton. Miss Verena Graham, Miss Vern Baer won high score prizes and Mrs. Dee Johanson was presented the traveling prize. Camp Cloud Rim next summer was discussed. It was decided to hold a candy sale next Saturday afternoon and evening on Main street. Scouts attending were Donna Nerd in, Vivian Balam'is, Jean Sorenson, Helen Woodland, Helen Hel-en Goris, Louise Balamis, Ilenc Perea, Dorothy Stringham, Mary Sorenson, Joy Bentley, Reva Thome, Gaye Cushing, Carol Ha-german, Ha-german, Lorraine Tobiason, E-laine E-laine Harris, Arthella Preloran, Darlene Harris, Donna Reid, Donna Tibbie. Si. Patrick'! Party A beautifully appointed bridge luncheon was given St. Patrick's day by Mrs. Thomas Caulfield at her home. Bowls of pale pink and lavendar sweet peas centered center-ed the tables and green shamrocks sham-rocks were favors. Attending were Mrs. Louis Buchman, Mrs. It. G. Frazier, Mrs. Lee Jones, Mrs. J. C. Birthday Surpriso A dinner party planned as a birthday surprise for Mrs. Verl Peterson was given Sunday evening ev-ening by Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Peterson. Jones, Mrs. Neva Able, Miss Helen Sparkes, Miss Helen Morris, Mrs. Loren Stokes, Mrs. W. L. Faddis, Mrs. W. C. Siddoway Siddo-way and Mrs. W. W. Raby. Following Fol-lowing dinner bridge was played with Mrs. Faddis and Mrs. Siddoway Siddo-way winning prizes and a gift being presented Mrs. Spendlove. .. Theatre Party Held By Scouts The first holiday of spring was enjoyed St. Patrick's night by Bingham Girl Scouts when they attended a movie at the Princess theatre. Later the group played games and were served refreshments refresh-ments by Mrs. Mildred Downard and Miss Beth Christensen at the home of Miss Christensen. Problem of raising a fund for Girl Scout camp expenses at ance of Mrs. David Lyon, program pro-gram chairman, and Mrs. Ed Johnson, chairman of refreshments. refresh-ments. Bishop David Lyon gave the invocation. Entertainment numbers num-bers included: Vocal duet, "I Love a Little Cottage", Miss Annie Masters jind Mrs. Clive Siddoway; Twenty members of the society soci-ety in a play, "Organization of the Relief Society";- Mrs. Gertrude Marsh, reading; Vocal numbers, "The Swallow" and "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen", Mrs. David Stoker; Benediction, Mrs. Elnora Peterson. Pe-terson. Games followed and a delicious buffet supper was served to sixty-one by Mrs. Maurine Colby, j Mrs. Eva Carpentier, Mrs. Dora Ivie and Mrs. Ruby Day under supervision of Mrs. Johnson. VM No. 1 Fire Auxiliary Mrs. Ray Tatton was hostess and seventeen members of the No. 1 Fire auxiliary in attendance at the meeting Monday evening. Following business, bridge was played with Mrs. Earl James, Mrs. Wilford Harris and Mrs. Eugene Jenkins receiving prizes awarded. 1 J. U. Club Mrs. Jack Davidson entertained entertain-ed the J. U. Club at her home Friday evening. Playing high at Five Hundred were Mrs. Bill Mayne and Mrs. Bob Streator. Consolation prize was given Mrs. James Peterson. Luncheon was served eight. j June Wedding Planned Mr. and Mrs. Loroy R. Me-Mullin Me-Mullin of Midvale have announced announc-ed the engagement of their daughter, dau-ghter, Miss Betty McMullin, to Leslie R. Carrigan of Union, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Carrigan. Bridge followed the business meeting with Mrs. Peter Smith of Copperton and Mrs. Amy Walters Wal-ters winning high score awards. Refreshments were served to nine. -j Visiting In California Mrs. Art Sorenson left Saturday Satur-day for Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, where she will visit for an indefinite period with relatives and friends. -.
