Show Civic Center Changes Cost Estimate Given Application to the state road commission for Bingham city's share of the motor-vehicle fund, $2140.18, will be made soon, Recorder Re-corder Eugene Morris said Wednesday. Wed-nesday. How the city intends to spend the money must be shown on the application. At the council meeting meet-ing Wednesday evening it was decided to use the fund for payment pay-ment on the new city truck, which cost $2870 15 allowance given as trade-in on the old truck , 1 A representative of Scott and Welch, architects, told the council coun-cil that a rough estimate of cost of remodeling the Civic Center shows it will take $10,000 to $12,-000 $12,-000 for materials and $15,000 for labor. When the city determines how the Civic Center improvements improve-ments can be financed a more exact accounting of costs will be made. Labor bills for snow removal the first half of March amounting amount-ing to $104.75 and payroll for the same period amounting to $610 was approved for payment. Dale Johnston, councilman in charge of health and sanitation, and Mayor Ed Johnson are council coun-cil members in charge of the city clean-up drive set for sometime some-time after April 15. The recorder's report for February Feb-ruary was presented. Collections shown during the month were: $415.25, water rents; $256.50, merchants' licenses; $124.00, fines and forfeitures; $50.00, peddler's licenses; $1.50, dog tax; $75.00, cemetery. Expenditures shown were $1052.06 from general fund; $705 for interest on bonds; $1391.53 for the public safety fund; $109-.65 $109-.65 for motor equipment; $122.33 for fire department; $403.65 for the health department; $386.26 for the water department.
