Besides members, guests present were Mrs. Elizabeth Sar-doni Sar-doni of Provo, Mrs. Robert Sonne Son-ne and Mrs. E. W. Gleason. Mrs. Clyde Crump, Mrs. Marie Peterson Peter-son and Mrs. Marie Park won prizes. Harold Nielsen, principal of the Lark school, had his appendix removed Saturday at the Bingham Bing-ham Canyon hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Horace -Seal and daughter Mary Beth were Salt Lake City visitors Thursday. Harker's Dog show performed at the Lark grade school Thursday Thurs-day night under auspices of the P.-T. A., proceeds to be used in purchase of school playground equipment. Mrs. Meda Savage of Los Angeles, An-geles, recently a patient at St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City, is now a guest of her sister, Mrs. Elva Bloom. A program followed by games and dancing was given at the M. I. A. closing meeting Tuesday Tues-day evening at the Lark Amusement Amuse-ment hall. Late refreshments were served. Several Lark high school students stu-dents attended the Provo track meet Friday. Mrs. Frank Sweat entertained I the Five Hundred club at her home Friday evening. Yvonne Richards Ashton, daughter dau-ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Ashton, 1155 First Avenue, and Richard Haven Willey, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Willey, 464 Second Avenue, both of Salt Lake City, were married Friday at the bride's home. They will make their residence in Lark. Mr. Willey is associated with U. S. Mines company. Mrs. E. W. Gleason attended a quilting in Salt Lake City given giv-en by the Navy Mothers club. Mrs. Grace Lloyd and son of Los Angeles is a guest of Mrs. Frank Sweat. Max DuBois, a member of Canyon Can-yon lodge No. 13, F. & A. M., was inducted into the Utah Scottish Scot-tish Rite of Freemasonry at the Masonic Temple following classes clas-ses held from Monday until Thursday. Bert Thomas, a member of Scottish Rite, attended attend-ed several meetings. |
