Show COURT OF HONOR AWARDS GIVEN Scouts of Five Troops Enjoy Evening With Fathers The relationship of fathers and sons was discussed by Paul Dunn secretary of the Salt Lake Boy Scout council, at the Court of Honor following the Fathers and Sons banquet Wednesday night at the Bingham high school. The banquet was served to Boy Scouts of the five Bingham dis- tnct troops and their fathers in the high school cafeteria. Arrangements Ar-rangements were made by L. E. Snow and Runar Martinson. J. C. Landenberger was master mas-ter of ceremonies. The Reverend Meredith Smith gave the invo- cation. The talk by Mr. Dunn was followed by singing led by Joel Jensen. A letter from Royal Stone, district field executive, I was read. A. A. Macke told the Boy Scouts of a feasible plan for ! raising money to attend Camp Steincr this summer. Mayor Ed Johnson spoke on Clean-up activities. acti-vities. Receiving a certificate himself, L. Fern Pett also introduced the following scout leaders who received re-ceived certificates for attendance at a training course given by Mr. Stone in scout program building: build-ing: Bishop David Lyon, Willis Garrett, J. C. Landenberger, Robert Ro-bert Goff, Runar Martinson, Robert Ro-bert Eyre and Rex Holland. Dr. Paul S. Richards presided at the Court of Honor and presented pre-sented awards as follows: Star Awards: Blake Gammell, Ray W. Pett; Merit badge a-wards: a-wards: Mike Osequero, John Larick, Roy Mitchell, Nick Yen-gich, Yen-gich, Mike Churich, Robert Goff, Blake Gammell, Ray Pett; First class awards: Howard Swain; Russell Loveless; Second class awards: Shirl Scroggin, Vern Rakich, Albert Rubalcava, Don Miller, Mike Yengich, Jimmy Epis, Matt Blockovich. Robert Nicholl, Albert Al-bert and Jay Cheever; Tenderfoot badges: Gordon Buckle and William Garrity. O |
