Show FILMS, MUSIC ARE CENTRAL SCHOOL P.-T.iPROGRAM Dr. R. G. Frazier exhibited the colored motion pictures he filmed film-ed in September, 1938, of the Glen canyon of the Colorado, and the 1937 film, "Following in the Footsteps of Escalante", at the parent-teachers association meeting at Bingham Central school Tuesday evening. The school auditorium was filled, an estimated 500 persons being present, and the films, with Dr. Frazier's explanatory comments, held the attention of the group. Spontaneous applause was the reaction to pictures of the Rainbow bridge. The rhythm band of the two first grades instructed by Miss Marie Lang and Miss Zoe Jensen Jen-sen played eight numbers of different dif-ferent mood and time. The performance per-formance revealed what fine results re-sults children get from a few simple instruments with expert guidance. The youngsters wore red and white costumes. The Bingham Central school made an appearance in their new uniforms and played three numbers under leadership of Billy Clough, acting in the absence ab-sence of Allen Fifield, instructor. Principal R. R. Bell complimented compliment-ed the Band Mothers association on the help they have given the band. An advisory committee was named to cooperate with the high school faculty and parent-teachers parent-teachers organization officers by Mrs. Harry Parker. Committee members are Mrs. J. O. Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, Mrs. L. E. Snow and Mrs. Francis Quinii. i i |
