Show :uliK si TWO BRITISH VESSELS Six Men Killed and Six Injured In-jured on Cymbeline; Mimosa's Mi-mosa's Crew Escapes. LONDON, Sept. 6. 11:3.' a. m. The British steamer Cymbeline has been sunk. Six members of the crew were killed and six were injured. Thirty-one others were landed safely. The Cymbeline was a tank steamer of 4505 tons gross. 370 feet long, owned by the Bear Creek Oil & Shipping company of Liverpool. She was last rpported as having sailed from Port Arthur, Tex., August 13, and Norfolk. Va., August 21. for Dartmouth, England. LONDON. Sept. 6. The British steamer Mimosa, from New York for Belfast, has been sunk. The crew was saved. . The steamer Mimosa, a 34"i6-ton vessel, left New York on August 21 for Belfast. Built In 110."-, she was 352 feet long, forty-five forty-five feet beam and seventeen feet depth. She was owned by the Mimosa Steam-: Steam-: shipping company, limited, of London, and was a freight-carrying steamer. |
