Tho invitation list was restricted to about eiphty People whom members of the president's lamilv have met since they began coming to Cornish for the summer. 'Die president walked about the lawn, mingling with the quests during dur-ing the tea. and was introduced to all those present. Hitherto during their visits to Cornish the president and members of his family have remained much to themselves, them-selves, and the tea today was an innovation. inno-vation. Members of the president's family have met many of the summer colony, but Mr. Wilson .himself has made few acquaintances here.
