Pnesirlcnt Gaffney of the Boston National league club an- l nounccd tonight that Pitcher Hill James, member of the famous trio of pitchers who figured in t lie Braves' sensational finish last seasun, had been suspended at his own request in order that he might go to his home in Seattle, Wash., to rest his pitching arm. Experts who examined James's arm said that only by a complete rest can it be brought back into form.
