Death came as a resnlt of advanced age Mrs Adams was born in Plattsborg N Y May 6 186 In 185 she ac compamed her parents to Tllino s and lived in Ivauvoo A jear later she mar ried Baraaby Lathrop Adams a close friend of Bngham Yonng and later as sociated with him m the pioneer days in Salt Lake He was nth one of the first parties to come to alt Lake Af ter a few months here howe er he re turned to Nauvoo for h a bride With the exception of a few rears spent on her ranch in R gbv Idaho, and a visit to her granddaughter Maude Adams in fcew York in 1898 Mrs Adams has resided here cont nuouslv Mrs Adams is survived b three daughters, Mrs Kiskadden Mrs. Charles Crouch the wife of the Kev Mr Crouch of Musoola Mont and Mrs. Julia Qaayle, of lt Lake There are three surviving bobs D H Adams of Righy Idaho II. D and Joshua dams of Salmon City Idaho There are in addition fifteen grandchildren one of whom is Miss Maude Adams. Mrs. Adams has been in feeble health for several years. She has been almost constantly under the care of a physician Mande Adams opened last night in Peter Pan in lew York The news of her grandmother s death was kept from her until after the performance. An effort will be made to hae the Rev Charles Crouch pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church in Missoula preach the funeral sermon. Al though arrangements have not been def imtelv made the funeral will probablv be held Friday |
