Show womy TRIBUTE TO ISlW.CIli Resolutions of Condolence Are Passed by Surviving Members of Club. A committee of the' Utah Women's Press club met yesterday ond drew up a-set a-set of resolutions upon the death of Mrs. May WUckeu Cannon, wife of Hugh J. ! Cannon, and president of the club, who died In this city February 15. At a meeting of the club tho committee had been empow- 1 ered to draft the resolutions and at Its meeting yesterday carried out its Instructions. In-structions. The resolutions follow: Since God, In' his infinite wisdom, has seen fit to remove to another sphere of action our esteemed and be- loved president. May Wllcken Cannon. we. the officers and members of the ! Utah Women's Press club, desire to express our appreciation of her noble qualities of heart and mind and the great loss we have sustained. 1 She was a noble and devoted wife and mo i her, an appreciative and thoughtful daughter, and was loved by those who knew her best. Having walked uprightly all the days of her life, we feel that she has pleased her Heavenly father by her i conscientious integrity of purpose. Therefore be it resolved.
