Concerts and entertainments enter-tainments are being planned and held in nearly every Mormon church ward of the city to rnisc funds for aiding tlu- Ocd-n tabernacle choir in its proposed trip to the California expositions next July. In many Instances members of the choir assist in the programmes. Tin- suf-'-.-s of the plan lias so far been eii"our:imn:. According to an estimate made by the choir business management, about $22,000 will be rerpiired lo defray the actual expenses ex-penses of the trip.
