Show IMS LOSE BOTH TO SLUGGING DUCKS When Crespi Is Knocked From Mound, "Dutch" Auer Takes Place. Special to The Tribune. BUTTE, July 4. Butte made it five straight today when Murray dropped two tranies by scores of 4 to 3 'and 13 to 3, the last game being a continuation of the slaughter that has been common this week. Crespi was knocked out of the box in the afternoon game and Auer sent in to finish it, so that Crespi might be used in Sunday's double-header. Of the seventeen sev-enteen hits, a home run and three triples added in the run getting. Murray appeared to loaf on the job now that Bulte lias nosed them out in the percentage column. McClelland took the hitting honors to himself. McCreery was never in danger, and the reliable right-hander loafed after his teammates had piled up a big lead. Not a Murray runner reached first until the fifth Inning. In the morning game Jackson, who is showing a return to old-time form, scored the winning run with a hot liner in the ninth. Butte surrendered to Murray Mur-ray only In the fifth, when two runs counted on a single, a double and two passes. In the seventh a triple and Wll-lard's Wll-lard's error resulted in Murray counting again. Dawson pitched a fair game, but his support was wobbly. First game MURRAY. AB. R. H. PO. A. E.
