Show ALTA COfSOLiDATED TO STARTSHiPMENTS ! Two Carloads Broken Fromj New Body Struck Recently Recent-ly in East Drift. Ore shipments will start from the property prop-erty of the AKa Consolidated mine Just as soon aa the stonn now raging in tho Alta district permits, according to President Presi-dent A. O. Jacobson. The ore encountered encoun-tered recently in the property has been opened up for forty feet along its strike and averages three and one-half feet In width. More than two carloads have been broken for shipment and the third car will be ready to ship in the near future. The new ore body was encountered off the main tunnel level" in the drift that was driven to the east and Is located in tho eastern portion of the ..mine on the famous fa-mous Braine fissure that lias produced so many ore bodies In the past. It has been raised on for a distance of twenty feet and is apparently as strong as when first encountered, three and one-half feet showing show-ing at the last report from the mine. It Is making to the east und west. In the east drift the breast shows three and one-half feet of ore. The ore, which Is of gvod grade and apparently maintaining main-taining its values us the drift progresses, is of a carbonate lead-silver nature and averages about $;!! 10 the ton. Mr. Jacobson Ja-cobson said yesterriav that the ndne was never in a better physical condition and had not had brighter prospects for a number num-ber of yeaxa.
