Show CONSOLIDATION FAVORED. Pamphlet Is Issued on School Matter In Utah County. Special to The Tribune. LEHI. March 20. John P. Creer, county coun-ty superintendent of schools, todav Issued Is-sued a pamphlet containing a detailed survey on consolidation of the public schools of Utah county. A report also has been made, which Is a vigorous instrument In favor of consolidation, con-solidation, and in a short time petitions will be gotten out asking the county commissioners com-missioners to consolidate the north end of Utah county Into one district. The report draws attention to the present double-headed educational system In tho north end of Utah county, with Its eight separate school boards, and a high school board of eight members. The wasteful method of a double system of supervision In each of the three larger cities Lehl, American Fork and Pleasant Grove Is pointed out, but the strongest argument Is for higher efficiency In school management man-agement and results. |
