Show MOTION TQ SECURE WARKD01IED Liquor Dealers Escape Court Session; Commissioners Make Appointments. Following the advice of City Attorney Attor-ney Harper J. Dininuy, City Commissioner Commis-sioner G. D. Keyscr at a mooting of the commission last night introduced a motion authorizing the police department depart-ment to ask the county attorney to is-suo is-suo two complaints against saloonkeepers saloonkeep-ers charging them will selling liquor without a license. After some discussion discus-sion the motion was voted down, the majority of the commissioners feeling that the ease in question was not ot such a nature that a victory could be won in court. Tho motion was directed against William Wil-liam Gayiau & Co., 553 West Second South street, and Anast Koulis, 102 West Second South street, who are charged with securing a liquor license for one location ami then moving to another without huving secured the consent of tho commissioners, in the meantime, however, and while in their new locations, thoy had paid the quarterly quar-terly license fee, which tho city had accepted and put into the general treasury. treas-ury.
