A. Thomas, who will attend at-tend the U.S.A.C. at Logan; Also Fae Zahler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zahler; Jay Gleason. son of Mr. and Mrs E. W. Gleason, Glea-son, and Sherrill Overson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Overson, who will attend the University of Utah. Miss Lois Turpin, daughter dau-ghter of Mrs. Clara Turpin, is attending the L. D. S. Business college. Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Snedaker of Lark, Mrs. Frank Snedaker of New York City and Katherine Taylor of San Matt-o, Cal., are vacationing in San Francisco. Mrs. Taylor was a guest of the Snedaker's at Lark before the group left for the coast. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Orhne are visiting in Hollywood. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Let-Paul Let-Paul and children, who returned to their home on the coast recently re-cently after spending the summer sum-mer at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. David McGee. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Bowen left Monday for a week's vacation vaca-tion in canyons of southern Utah and Boulder Dam. Mr. Bowen returned Saturday from the American Am-erican Mining Congress, western division, held at Colorado Springs September 16-19. Mr. and Mrs. Kstes Loggins left Tuesday for Anchorage, ! Alaska, to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brand, recently re-cently of South Jordan, are now making their home in Lark. Miss Alice Sobbe and Miss Amy Howard of Sandy were entertained entertain-ed at a noon luneheon Wednesday Wednes-day at the home of Mrs. J. H. McDonald. Among those attending the funeral services Wednesday for Mrs. Martin Thormis of Midvale were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nielsen, Niel-sen, Mrs. Clyde Augustson, Mrs. J. H. McDonald and Mrs. Bert Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nell of Bingham visited several days this week with Mr. and Mrs. Dell Nell. |
