Show WOMEN'S CIVIC CLUB BEGINS PROGRAM The first fall meeting of the Women's Civic club was held in the Bingham branch of the Salt Lake county library at the City hall with Mrs. Harley N. English Eng-lish presiding the evening of Septembeer 19. Mrs. J. L. Gresham, librarian, reported a monthly average of 1204 books circulated from the library during the months of May, June, July and August Mrs. H. Fred Dunn, library committee com-mittee chairman, reported on purchase of chairs and a reference refer-ence book table. A number from the Civic club will attend the Central district convention at Magna tomorrow. Mrs. Wilford H. Harris is Bingham's Bing-ham's representative on the Central Cen-tral district board of directors. Mrs. Harley N. English will be nominated by the Civic club as the Bingham candidate for vice president of the central district. Mrs. Harvey L. Goff, entertainment enter-tainment committee chairman, will arrange details of a club party par-ty to be held in October. Mrs. J. L. Gresham, librarian at the City hall, explained the library system. Refreshments were served by Mrs. English, Mrs. Paul F. Erz, Mrs. John Dahlstrom, Mrs. Don Reid and Mrs. Leland Burress. o |
