Show DALE CARNEGIE VIEWSBINGHAM Dale Carnegie, internationally famous lecturer and authority on human relations, was a sightseer in Bingham Canyon Wednesday. The past week Mr. Carnegie has been directing a course on Salesmanship Sales-manship and Personality at the Hotel Utah in Salt Lake City for 500 people. The author of several books, among which are "How To Win Friends and Influence People", his most popular, and "Lincoln the Unknown", and a columnist for many newspapers, Mr. Carnegie Car-negie is not a graduate of any university, but has gathered his knowledge about life and people peo-ple from all over the world. Fifty-two years of age, in person per-son Carnegie is five feet nine inches tall, dark-eyed, wears glasses, is gray-haired, weighs 155 pounds. He was born in Marysville, a small northwest Missouri town. A dynamic speaker speak-er and full of nervous energy, Carnegie is always immaculately immaculate-ly dressed. Much interested in other people, peo-ple, Mr. Carnegie is a lecturer who practices what he preaches. He is interested in heavyweight boxing, loves softball, enjoys travel and makes his home in Forest Hills, Long Island, New York. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Borden of New York City were also members of the Carnegie party. Mr. Borden is conducting classes on salesmanship in conjunction with Mr. Carnegie's course. He is a sales analyst for the Borden Milk company of New York City and probably knows more about salesmanship than any other one man in the United States. |
