Tho Volunteers of America aro now making final preparations for the ouO Christmas baskets which they are going to givo away to tho poor. It is their aim to mako these baskets more complete com-plete and of a bettor qualitj than ever before They arc now making inquiries in order to Jearn just who really needs help. Lach basket will contain a chicken, two loaves of bread, butter, coffee su-gav, su-gav, apples, potatoes, can of corn, three pounds of flonr and a cake of soap. The baskets will be delivored Wednesday afternoon, the daj- before Christmas.
