INTENSE HEAT AT DEPTH ON COMSTOCK At Ihe Consolidated Virginia on the Comstock lode, a throe compartment raise is being made from the rich ore shoot on the 2400-foot level. The Ophir Silver Mining company has received complete returns on tho 20U tons of ore milled at tho Klnkead mill, and Ihc net cash yield over and above freight and treatment charges al the smelter was $53,003.10. The brunt of this return is for cash settlements on the concentrates' shipped out. but a bar of bullion mode from the clean-up brought in $6160.01;. .The Mexican Mining company received $12,065 in gold coin from Selby's in settlement set-tlement for the sale of five bars of bullion. bul-lion.
