Two men were shot in Bingham tonight as thc result of quarrels. Phillip Galovlch was shot in the left shoulder In the Welcbit saloon after he had made an attempt upon the life of tho proprietor, Steve Melich. An hour later, Tgnat Scloss, a Bulgarian, stepped Into the range of a bullet Intended In-tended for another in the kitchen of the Blevln boarding house nt thc Highland Floy mine, and received a serious Injury In the left thigh Melich shot Galovlch. According to witnesses, Galovlch entered the saloon and began firing at Mollch without warning. warn-ing. Me Urcd twice before Melich brought his own gun Into play. Then Galovlch fell with a bullcl through the shoulder. He was in the act of firing a third time when the shot struck him and crumpled him on the floor. Both Catcoss and Melich are under arrest, ar-rest, charged with assault with deadly weapons.
